My favorite musical gear that I own would have to be a 1964 Silvertone 1564 ThinLine Hollowbody (Single Cutaway-looks like a Les Paul) Bought it
at a yard sale for 15.00. Most mojo of anything I own and a wonderful tone.
(I play it on "White Christmas" at my SoundClick Site) This was the last guitar I purchased while my Dad, my best friend and biggest supporter was alive.
He planted that music bug in my head and I canıt get it out. He passed away in 1992. I Love him still and he is sorely missed.
12. Is there anything else you want to share with Song Stuff visitors?
Archie: I simply hope you enjoy my music for what it is. That's all I ask. I think that I am an example of the fact that getting a little older and wiser doesn't make you dull and boring young 'uns. Music and the Arts are the last pieces of our humanity we have left and It's up to us to perpetuate it's importance. If I have any goal, it would be that. Aside from performing and writing, I teach youngsters music everyday - I always learn
from them and consider it a privilege to teach this art form to them so they can keep it alive.
Also an interesting note. As busy as my musical/professional life is, I have been married to the same lady for 20 years and have 2 very active, "musical" kids. (my son is a saxophonist/keyboardist and my daughter is a
saxophonist/Drummer who is really hot. She performed on several tracks on my Demo CD. Thank You babygirl.
